Site Safety
- posted fire plan
- fire extinguishers are accessible
- low voltage electrical safety standards followed
- fire alarms present
- first aid kit for guests and staff
Game Safety
- no one should be physically locked inside of a room
- magnetic locks should have push to exit safety buttons
- wires should not be exposed
- no sharp corners or exposed screws
- no dangerous objects without protections in place
- lasers should be low power and placed out of eyesight
- strobe lighting: the flash rate must be kept at or below 4 flashes per second
- game elements should not encourage unsafe actions
- electrical sockets should not be accessible
- experiences should be actively monitored by staff
COVID-19
- face mask requirements should follow all local rules and ordinances
- escape rooms are sanitized based on CDC best-practices
Customer Service
- clear and posted cancellation and refund policy
- clear and posted guest requirements (e.g. guests must be sober)
